We rise from the ashes of our ancestors’ struggles, who fought for freedom, equality, and justice. We rise with the knowledge that our grandmothers’ tears, our mothers’ sacrifices, and our own determination have paved the way for us to be where we are today. We rise with the voices of our foremothers’, like Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman , and Maya Angelou, who remind us that “still we rise”.
As we rise, we reclaim our stories, our voices, and our power. We rise with a renewed sense of purpose, a deeper understanding of ourselves, and a commitment to creating a more just and equitable world. We still rise, not just despite the adversity, but because we are resilient, and because we are determined to thrive.
